Include your Shopify store domain, a short description of what happened, the time it occurred, and screenshots if useful. Never send passwords, Shopify access tokens, database credentials, payment card details, or a buyer’s full order record by email.
Installation and permissions
Verity requests read access to orders and products and write access to Shopify Files. Orders verify that a buyer purchased a product, products connect approved reviews to the right page, and Shopify Files stores buyer videos in the merchant’s own Shopify library.
Invitations and submissions
Invitations are created for fulfilled orders and use a secure link that expires after 30 days. Buyer details are not placed in the link. Videos may be MP4, MOV, or WEBM and are limited to 10 minutes.
A submission stays private until the merchant reviews it. Publishing also requires the buyer’s recorded display consent.
Privacy requests
Buyers should normally contact the Shopify merchant where the purchase was made. Merchants can forward an access, deletion, or content-removal request to support. Verity also processes Shopify’s authenticated mandatory privacy webhooks.
Before reporting a problem
Confirm that the order is fulfilled, the app remains installed, the relevant product still exists, and the storefront app block is enabled where the review should appear. If the issue persists, send the store domain and the affected order, product, or submission identifier—without sharing unnecessary customer data.
